On the last weekend of May, the 2026 Spanish 1:8 off-road buggy championship, the Big Race, was held in the legendary RACBSA Montjuic track in Barcelona, Spain.
During the event, the Spanish Nationals of 1:8 eco buggy RD2 and the Spanish Nationals of 1:8 nitro buggy RD3 were held at the same time, making the event called the ‘Big Race’.
Highest RC Spanish drivers, Juan Carlos Canas and Robert Batlle, took part in this amazing race and had wonderful results on both qualifying events!
Juan Carlos Canas took TQ and the 1st place in the nitro buggy class, and took 1st place in the eco buggy, even though he started the race not in the top qualifier position, so having double wins on the race day.
Robert Batlle, the former World Champion, had P6 in the eco buggy, and P4 in the nitro buggy, bringing a good conclusion to his last season as a driver.
B251, the powerful brushless HV servo, helped him on the race with the tough and rugged track, and it will provide the best experience for 1:8 buggy drivers!
